Josh Allen christened the new Highmark Stadium the only way he knows how — by cooking a whole defense. 🔥

The Bills quarterback accounted for five total touchdowns — 3 passing, 2 rushing — as Buffalo torched the Detroit Lions 41-31 on Thursday Night Football in the first regular-season game at the new building.

Allen finished 20-of-31 for 248 yards through the air and added 69 rushing yards with his legs. Buffalo scored touchdowns on its first four possessions and never looked back, going a perfect 5-for-5 in the red zone and 9-of-12 on third down.

This was Allen's fourth career game with 3+ pass TDs and 2+ rush TDs — no other player in NFL history has more than two such games, per NFL Research. MVP chatter isn't premature; it's overdue. 👀
