The Cleveland Browns just walked into Tampa and STOLE one from Baker Mayfield — 23-19 — and Deshaun Watson was HIM.

The go-ahead score: a 17-yard strike to tight end Blake Whiteheart with 3:51 left, running the no-huddle. Earlier, Watson hit Denzel Boston on a 55-yarder — Boston broke THREE tackles to tie it at 16.

Mayfield had his chances: 21-of-34 for 182 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT. But after the delay, with the game on the line, his 4th-and-10 toss to Emeka Egbuka in the end zone fell incomplete. Game.

The Baker storyline is officially over: he was drafted No. 1 overall by the Browns in 2018, shipped out after the blockbuster Watson trade in 2022 — and is now 0-2 against his former team. Meanwhile Watson — who seemed to be running out of time with Shedeur Sanders waiting — just gave first-year coach Todd Monken every reason to stick with him.

Cleveland is 1-1. Tampa is 0-2.
