Sean "Diddy" Combs is reportedly living like he's in the penthouse — while serving a 50-month federal sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey.

What's being reported

Per the NBC report (by Rich Schapiro and Chloe Melas):

- A full staff: inmates who cook and clean for him, make his bed, do his laundry, and even clean the toilet and shower areas before he uses them. One man described preparing special meals — curry chicken, pizza, empanadas — cooked on a homemade electrical element. "After a while, I got tired of cooking," he said. "He started going to the Jamaicans."

- Massages: one inmate allegedly gives him Chinese-style massages.

- A contraband phone: NBC obtained video of Diddy appearing to use a cellphone. Sources say he uses it to scroll Instagram and view nude and sexually explicit photos sent by an old girlfriend.

- A jailbroken tablet: used for movies and documentaries — including, per two sources, Netflix's Sean Combs: The Reckoning, the docuseries produced by his longtime rival 50 Cent. Watching your own takedown documentary from a prison cell is a level of irony money can't buy.

- Smuggled liquor: sources say guards smuggled in premium alcohol — Hennessy among the stash — which Diddy shared with a small group on weekends. "Hell yeah, I drank with him," one inmate told NBC.

- Black-market medication: he allegedly bought Remeron, a prescription antidepressant ("rem-roms" inside), prescribed to other inmates.

One source summed it up: "This is not some normal sh*t you see in jail. This is some rich sh*t. It looks crazy, but again, it's Diddy."

The denials

Diddy's representative has denied the allegations, saying he is following the rules while awaiting an appeal. The Federal Bureau of Prisons declined to comment on individual inmates, saying contraband remains a persistent challenge.

Diddy is serving his 50-month sentence after a 2025 conviction on two counts of transporting people across state lines for prostitution, following the "freak-off" case. A jury acquitted him of the more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges. His projected release is listed as January 21, 2028.

The VIP era is over — for now

Following the NBC report, TMZ reports Diddy was moved to the facility's Special Housing Unit — solitary confinement — while officials investigate the claims. Sources say SHU placement is standard procedure during an investigation, not a finding that the allegations are true. This isn't his first stint: he was placed in SHU in July after a reported prison fight.

So the man allegedly living better in prison than most of us are doing outside may now be sitting in solitary. Somebody check on the 50 Cent documentary — it just got a sequel.
