Chicago drill rapper 051 Drilla was reportedly shot just after midnight on Friday, September 18, 2026, in the 8800 block of South State Street on the Far South Side (West Chesterfield neighborhood).
According to reports, he was hit in the eye, chest, and forearm while inside his vehicle, lost control and crashed, and was rushed to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was listed in critical condition.
