🚨 "FIRED OVER DISCORD?" 34 GTA VI Devs Sacked as Rockstar Faces Union-Busting Tribunal — Game Still Drops Nov 19

🔥 WHAT WENT DOWN

Rockstar Games fired 34 employees while they were building the most anticipated game on Earth.

Most were based at Rockstar North in Edinburgh, with others in Canada — all axed in October 2025 for "gross misconduct."

The crime?

Talking sh*t about their managers and swapping confidential info in a private Discord server. 👀

The server — dubbed "Room C" in court — had 300+ members, including disgruntled ex-employees, competitors, and at least one journalist.

Now 23 of the fired devs are dragging Rockstar into an employment tribunal in Glasgow. ⚖️

Rockstar says it was "subject to regular assaults on its security" and had to stay "hypervigilant" about leaks.

The Independent Workers' Union of Great Britain is calling it a "calculated attack on workers."

- Rockstar allegedly "covertly monitored" the Discord by impersonating a union staff member

- workers got NO disciplinary meetings, NO investigation, NO chance to appeal

- a judge already noted there was "no evidence" the company suffered any harm from the posts

🌊 TRIBUNAL DRAMA

The Glasgow hearing runs Sept 10 through Oct 15 — meaning the verdict lands BEFORE GTA VI does.

The wildest testimony so far?

Fired dev Dayne Oram told the tribunal staff were put on a "watch list" after ~150 employees signed a 2023 petition about remote working.

One fired worker called the latest ruling "a huge moment for us." ✊
