😳 HOV CLEARED: Jay-Z Accuser Admits in Sworn Declaration She LIED About Everything

The Jane Doe who accused Shawn "Jay-Z" Carter of sexual assault has officially recanted — in writing, under oath.

On Wednesday, September 24, she filed a 12-page sworn declaration in Manhattan federal court stating that all of her allegations against Carter were false. In her own words:

"Shawn 'Jay-Z' Carter never raped me. I have never met or spoken to Mr. Carter. Mr. Carter never engaged in any inappropriate conduct toward me whatsoever."

And:

"There is no truth to any of my claims against Mr. Carter."

She stated she received no money for the declaration. Her new lawyer, James Blair Newman Jr., says she maintains she was the victim of an assault but was "entirely mistaken in her allegations identifying Mr. Carter."

Jay-Z has now voluntarily dismissed her from his malicious prosecution lawsuit — the case continues, but aimed squarely at attorney Tony Buzbee. Buzbee pushed back, saying multiple lawyers dealt with her and she told the same story each time: "If for some reason now she is claiming she lied to us and the court, that's new information."

Quick background: the original suit was filed in October 2024 and amended in December 2024 to add Carter, alleging a 2000 VMAs afterparty incident. Carter denied it as a blackmail attempt. She dropped the suit with prejudice in February 2025, and Carter countersued for malicious prosecution that same month.
