SAME ELBOW. AGAIN. 😱 Jayden Daniels Dislocates His Left Elbow vs the Cowboys — And Washington Fans Have Seen This Movie Before

Carted off the field with a towel over his head. Quickly ruled out. After the game, head coach Dan Quinn confirmed it: a dislocated left elbow — Daniels' non-throwing arm.

And here's the nightmare part: it's the SAME elbow. The one he dislocated in Week 9 of the 2025 season — missed three games, rushed back, then re-injured it in Week 14 in his first game back and missed the rest of the year. History repeating itself in the worst way possible.

The early word is cautiously good: X-rays showed no fracture, Daniels travels home with the team, and he gets more imaging on Monday, Sept. 21. But a twice-dislocated elbow is a twice-dislocated elbow.

Even the booth couldn't believe what they were watching. When the replay aired, Fox analyst Tom Brady dropped an on-air expletive — "Oh, sh*t." — then caught himself: "Excuse me. I was not expecting to see that." Seven Super Bowls and THAT replay still rattled him. 😳

Daniels was cooking before he went down: 11-of-17 for 96 yards and a TD, zero picks, plus 7 rushes for 69 yards. Backup Marcus Mariota took over — and the Commanders fell to 0-2.

🧠 SNUBBZ TAKE: Non-throwing arm or not, you do NOT rush a twice-dislocated elbow back — Washington already learned that lesson the hard way LAST season. 0-2 with Mariota under center, the season's on life support either way. Sit the franchise QB until that elbow is truly 100%.
