The U.S. House of Representatives voted Wednesday to find billionaire Leon Black in CONTEMPT OF CONGRESS — and referred the whole case to the Department of Justice — after he declined to comply with subpoenas in the probe into late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.

This is not some random Wall Street guy. Black co-founded Apollo Global Management, one of the biggest private equity firms on the planet. He stepped down as CEO back in 2021 after an outside law firm found he had paid Epstein $158 MILLION for "tax and estate planning." A hundred and fifty-eight million. For tax advice. 👀

Back in June, Black showed up voluntarily before the committee, told them he never abused women or got into sex trafficking, and then walked out mid-interview. The committee wasn't having it — they ordered him back under oath, hit him with subpoenas for documents, and when he still didn't comply, they went nuclear.

Now the DOJ gets the file. And here's the kicker: contempt of Congress is a misdemeanor, but it carries up to a YEAR in prison and a fine of up to $100,000.
