Peacock is NOT letting the backstabbing bag go. The streamer renewed "The Traitors" for three more seasons โ running through Season 8, returning in 2027 โ announced Wednesday, Sept 16.
And the timing makes sense. The Traitors just pulled a record SEVEN Emmy wins โ the most ever for a competition series in a single year โ including Alan Cumming's THIRD straight win for Outstanding Host. Cumming returns as host, obviously.
Season 4 was the show's biggest yet: up 72% over Season 3, with 8.1 BILLION minutes viewed โ making it the #2 streaming original reality series of 2026, behind Love Island USA.
But here's the real twist: TOMORROW โ Thursday, Sept 17 โ "The Traitors: New Blood" premieres on NBC. An all-civilian spinoff: 22 everyday Americans, zero celebrities. No fame to hide behind. Just pure paranoia.
